I have no problem with Jar-Jaromir.

Indeed.
I have no problem at all with Jar-Jaromir being in ROTK.

After all, I have heard (I actually have heard this, folks) that Sauron is taking a new incarnation in ROTK.
Perhaps that means he is coming down out of that Great Tower in order to kick someone into the next world.

Methinks that if Jar-Jaromir appears on the scene, Sauron will be coming for him.

Then something shall happen in Arda, that has not happened in Arda since the Forging of the Great Rings of Power.
We will see an alliance and friendship once more between Sauron and elves, Sauron and dwarves, and Sauron with men.
Side by side, Sauron, Saruman, Gandalf, Aragorn, Eomer Galadriel, Elrond, and even Treebeard will take up the noble quest to rid Middle Earth of this most supreme of all threats - one Jar-Jaromir!

I think Jar-Jaromir is a rather smart move. Purists may scoff at the idea of having him in RotK, but really, it doesn't matter. One purist may say that it would destroy the Tolkien classic and that he or she would refuse to see RotK.

Yeah right. If that were true, no one would see "Phantom Menace" or " Attack of the Clones". Since even die hard sci-fi/fantasy fanboys went to go see SW Ep1&2, its obvious that Gunguns sell tickets. Big time.

Now LotR can possibly draw in the remaining monogamous Star Wars fans that have yet to pay tribute to LotR by buying tickets to RotK. For they have held off so far in fear of contributing to ticket sales counts that may rival their beloved series.

Smart move.

:p ROTFLMAO :p

"The joke goes ever on and on..."

Personally, I don't know why this is getting more media attention than J.R.R. Tolkien's 111th Birthday this past January 3rd. * shakes head *

Perhaps the Gungans were another weapon of Melkor that was all but eliminated in the Second Age, ala balrogs? That would certainly be hideous and deadly enough.

Good to see Jar Jar getting work, even a digitally animated characters needs to eat, ok he doesn't need to eat but you hate to see somebody with so much digital talent all washed up like that, oh he didn't have any talent, he's just a waste of computing power designed to sell Star Wars toys to 6 year olds, then he should start showing up as a guest star on TV sit coms before long, or the new Hollywood Squares.

Hmm. I wonder if this has to do with the fact that Gollum and Jar Jar were old college pals.

Personally, I prefer Buzz Lightyear.

"To Gondor and Beyond!"
