Fantasy Flight Games is having another sale . . .

Now I'm getting tempted to convert Blue Planet for a plane-hopping D&D adventure. Too much of a stretch?

Well, if you leave out the new, high-tech colonies, and instead focus on the alien environment and the Natives as descendants of stranded human immigrants from another world, it might just work...

Are there adventures in the books, or just setting material?

"Natural Selection" has a survival-oriented adventure. I think "Frontier Justice" has one, too, but I'm not sure - the book is currently in another city...

School of Illusion and school of Evocation were (IMO) the two best spell collections published for 3.0. I was really disappointed that they weren't profiable enough to be continued. Divination and abjuration could have really used that sort of treatment.

Now you're making me feel bad! I picked up Cityworks, Mythic Races, Twisted Lore and Giant Lore. How is/was the spell balance?

Box just arrived. Nice! I would've liked a little notice that it had shipped, but I can't look a gift horse in the mouth. :)

Are you basking in the pride of multiple new book ownership? :D

Not at all, and very much in the tradition of where Wormhole was going IIRC.

There are some adventures on the Biohazard Games web site in the Red Sky Charters section at http://www.biohazardgames.com/red-sky2.html If you wander around you'll find them, and various other cool support files for games.

Huh?

I think there was some speculation that there might be another wormhole that connects to other star systems, but I don't know anything more than that.

Do you know anything more?

Yes, but if it hasn't been revealed yet by Jeff then I'm going to keep quiet about it....

HEY!! What kind of nasty tease is that?!?

Not that it should matter to me at the moment... It's going to take months just to wade through all the BP stuff I've picked up from this sale.

No tease intended Carl, I need to talk to Jeff before revealing anything further: I haven't read all of the BPv2 books, so I've sort of assumed that many of the deep game mysteries had been revealed by now. Sounds like that's not the case, so rather than rain on Jeff's parade, I'll check and see his thoughts on this first.

IIRC, he's in Hawaii this week, but I'll check and let you know one way or the other :D
