Since Farscape is going by-by after this last half-season, does AEG plan to continue supporting the game?
I'd love to grab the book, but I am worried about a dead-end product...

AEG has no plans for producing product for Farscape for the remainder of this year or for 2003. It looks like it will be a one-shot book.
Although they originally hoped to have multiple products, that Idea was scrapped quite a while ago during the original book's development. They were only able to secure a one-book deal from the Henson company. So much of the extra material they had developed either got compressed into the final product, or got cut along with some other things they had intended in the first book. They are currently putting out extras on their website that you can download. Unfortunately, nothing they put out on the site is canon, as it doesn't go to Henson for approval. The cancellation of the show is not connected with the game being only one book.
While Scapers are saddened by the continued possiblity that we will not see a conclusion to our series, we continue to fight to have it picked up to complete its story.
The book has tons of Farscape background information, and statistics for almost everything you would like, but it does need to homebrewing. If you need things like powers of the different stages of Pa'u, or for some things you have seen in later seasons, you will be out of luck. They also did some weird stuff to D20 combat to try to make it "more cinematic", but it doesn't work as D20M. Now we just use D20M for the system, and the FarRPG for all the setting specific material.
On a side note, the book is absolutely beautiful, and many of the scapers at our rallies were buying up the books (with no idea what d20 was). Many scapers (myself included), have begun using them as autograph albums, since every major cast member (except for the most recent season) has a full page photo decorating the start of a new chapter.
