I'm just thankful they get the rare chance to wrap things up right. Who knows, maybe there will be movies...
Rumors hint that they don't actually wrap things up. The ending is supposed to be very open. But I have been avoiding all spoilers with the exception of this trailer so it could all be bunk.

My guess is that the situation is similar to what happened to The Pretender on TNT. Namely, they thought the base viewership of the show enough to test-run a movie. That movie did well, so they did another movie. That movie didn't do so well, so they canned the series.

So if the first Farscape mini does well, they'll plan another. If that one does well, another. etc. etc. It allows them to commit far less money to each short run, and cut their losses quickly if things don't pan out.

I kinda figured as much. Sci-Fi is in love with mini-series anyway, which is fine by me. 4 hours of Farscape per year isn't as good as 22 eps but it's much better than nothing. I would be very surprised at this point if "Peacekeeper Wars" doesn't do well enough to warrant a sequel. The buzz has been pretty solid so far.

In my opinion the trailer is a little weak. I know the movie will be great, but really, you never use 'nobody' in something that's serious and dramatic. Use 'no one.' I'm of course psyched about the show, but I think that as a work of advertising, the trailer posted isn't nearly as cool as the commercial that's actually running on Sci-fi now.
