What is your favorite of the three 'Advanced' Books released by Green Ronin?

What makes the other two so great, and what is in the AGM--I know nothing of it. (actually it would be great to have a comparison of AGM and DMGII)

If in doubt, turn to the reviews page, padawan. (There were also some pretty decent threads discussing the book if you have search available.)

Here's my review on the reivews page.

Between the AGMG and DMGII, I think I prefer the AGMG. If you are a modest to intermediate GM, the DMGII probably has more for you to "take it to the next level". The AGMG has a bit of the same style of advice, but if you have already read Robin's Laws of Good Gamemastering (which overlaps a bit with the first chapter of DMGII), you might find the perspective of AGMG's advice fresher. The AGMG is a bit more about experimenting and expanding on your gaming experience and has more pure utility material and variants that will be of more use to more advanced GMs.

Thank you. Master. I must choose carefully.

The Advanced Bestiary isn't much more than a bunch of new templates.
It's a little more than that; each template has a monster that has been upgraded, so it's a "mini Monster Manual" in addition to being a book of templates.

Most of the templates are useful and innovative. I've been able to use the book almost every game, so it was a worthwhile purchase to me. YMMV.

Advanced Bestiary by a mile.

I think that what makes that book so popular (other than it's a good book) is that it's the most instantly usable of the three. I mean, templates are always useful.

So, Phil, are we going to be seeing more template files from RA in the near future? ;)

I chose Bestiary because I like it better than the PG.... but the GMG Hasn't come out yet, so I dunno... (I wish Amazon would at least list it for preorder though)

I swear I saw the AGMG at Barnes and Noble a few days ago. They had a whole nice stack of Advanced books on their shelves and I thought I saw the AGMG in there.

Guess not...
