Favorite Character...

My fav thus far has been a Ratroo Sorc. Forgot what level we ended at but the background was he was an old man, sorc, who was trying to learn Polymorph from a wizards school, not totally understanding the difference between the methods of magic. The end result of his wayward learning was his accidental change into a Ratroo, like a knee high rat/kangaroo from one of the old Creature collections. Also, as a side effect, he was immune from polymorphing, his own, or from others.

Close runner up, was a Loremaster I played in the WLD.

Favorite so far is my 10th level human monk, Zoryn Malkov. He's a rather modest 25 point buy character, but he's been through a lot. He's been captured, tortured, possessed by an evil artifact, martyred and then reincarnated as a kobold.

All of this is fine, since his patron deity is Ilmater, the Forgotten Realms god of suffering. He's not a good "face man", not really a leader in the party and he's not very good in combat, but he's still my favorite!

Had a female Dwarven Cleric of Haela Brightaxe/Barbarian character in the FRCS. She was very powerful at the beggining of the campaign, but fell far behind later on since her Cleric levels were much lower than the average CL of the party (I didn't want an XP penalty). Still, she made a great tank.

She was ugly, disgusting, and fun as anything to play, since she thought of herself as a beautiful prize of a dwarf!

Viserys and Nagaab

Since I've been 99% DM for the last 10 years, I really only have two PCs that I can choose from and I love them both.

Viserys Redhelm (Yes, I stole the first name from George RR Martin, but hopefully I never get "crowned", besides the character is only similar in name): 6th level fighter, worshiper of Hedrad, and currently wandering the Scarred Lands with . . .

Nagaab: 6th level wizard/ conjuration specialist, and scholar. Though Viserys is a bastard-sword weilding machine, it is Nagaab that adds the sorely needed buff spells, knowledge checks, summoned celestial badgers, and the occasional crossbow bolt that saves the young fighter's behind.

(If your reading, thank you, Scud. It's nice to be on the other side of the screen after all this time)
