What is your favorite D&D3.X Epic Module (series)?

The original AD&D epic module series included G1-3D1-3Q1 with the Giants and Drow

WOTC had Return To Temple of Elemental Evil, City of the Spider Queen, and the Adventure Path series.

Dungeon had a couple of series of adventures.

What about others?

For me, it's a tie between Dungeon's Shackled City, and NG's Lost City of Barakus.

Honorable Mention:
- NG's Rappan Athuk 1-3.

the various Freeport modules. An excellent blend of fantasy, swashbuckling action, and Cthuluesquece goodness rarely found in other series. The adventures incoporated both site and event style bits. The city iself has a great deal of color to it as well.

I think the Banewarrens is still the best I've read or run.

I totally agree and i have done almost all of them.
Monte Cooks "The Banewarrens" is the best and if you dont know now you know

Temple of Elemental evil is totally over rated
Return to Temple of elemental evil was better but not fantastic
The Giant-Drow-Lloth (Vault of the drow) series was one long bash.
Return to Tomb of Horrors was really really good and i would probably put behind Banewarrens
City of the spiderqueen is ok but i have not yet completed it.

What is Lost City of Barakus like?

It is a mega-dungeon meant for characters levels 1 through 5. It has a surrounding wilderness with plenty of outdoor adventure locations and a fleshed out city called Endhome which also has a series of adventures set in it as well. There is a lot to do in Barakus. So much so that they recommend slowly down XP by 50% so the players do not end up too high a level for the end of the dungeon.

I am currently running my gaming group through it inbetween our normal game sessions of the Savage Sword of Meepo run by WizarDru.

I have a DM's Journal up on the Necromancer Game boards (my players STAY OUT!) here:
