Favorite Dragon?

I like fairy dragons, shadow dragons and blue dragons the most, but hellfyre worms and the rest of the chromatics aren't too much further behind (each has their charm).

Metallics and gems just leave me cold for some reason.

I'm partial to planar dragons, especially of the rust and Styx varieties. As far as the "classics", the blues and blacks are my favorite for aesthetic reasons, but you can't argue with a great red wyrm.

And I've always liked the amethyst dragon, especially based on the illustration in the 2e Monstrous Manual.

My favorite five Dragons:

Rust: nothing puts the fear into your players more than a dragon who can destroy thier gear!
Pyroclastic: Red's granddaddy.
Gold: The ultimate goody-two-shoes dragon
Black: I love the horns! And something cool about "swamp dragons"
Crystal: the smallest of the Gem dragons, I had a Wyrmling Crystal PC back in 2e...
