Favorite Game Companies?

Troll Lord Games (C&C, Lejendary Adventure, & Castle Zagyg lines)
Chaosium (Call of Cthulhu)
Pagan Publishing (Delta Green)
Green Ronin (Mutants & Masterminds, True20, Freeport)
Necromancer Games (Rappan Athuk, Necropolis, Maze of Zayene, etc.)
Malhavoc (Arcana Unearthed)
Paizo (Dungeon, PDFs of classics)

I'm also looking forward to seeing the new material from Pied Piper Publishing, which looks really good and right in-line with my tastes.

Well, there are a few companies where I buy almost everything they put out:

Wizards of the Coast
Paizo
Green Ronin
Malhavoc
Steve Jackson Games

I have a bunch of stuff from AEG and FFG, but they have largely stopped printing the lines I like.

I buy all of the Mongoose B5 books -- but just the B5 books.

I have the role-playing books from Privateer Press on Iron Kingdoms, but little interest in the miniature game.

Too many to list here, but most of all Atlas Games and Monkey God Enterprises.

Doh!

I totally forgot about MonkeyGod Enterprises. I love Frost & Fur, and I was just getting onto their adventures. Yes, you can get their product line as PDFs from Highmoon Media, but I'd rather have the physical modules.

Cheers!

With regards to FASA the new company is Fanpro. Responsible the release of many many products, including SR4e last year, and a new update of the battletech ruleset this year. Earthdawn has some grassroots supporters as well iirc.

Earthdawn has more than grassroots support. A company called Living Room Games has the license for Earthdawn now. Living Room Games has also done a couple of d20 Modern titles, which I forgot to mention in my original post -- both "Digital Burn" and "Tony Digerolamo's Complete Mafia for D20".

The Second Editon of Earthdawn includes no less than 10 new products, which includes updates to the core rulebook, the Earthdawn Companion, and The Book of Dragons. And while I only have the core rulebook, so far, I'm chomping at the bit to get more. (My money only goes so far.)

Cheers!

Lately, I've also been taking a closer look at both Alea Publishing Group and Inner Circle Games, although I don't really want to buy PDF products.

Gah! We're The Inner Circle, not Inner Circle Games. Sorry, pet peeve. Very glad you are looking into us though. We are going to print with some of our stuff direct through our website. And printing full color too. I found an awesome company at Wizard World Philadelphia last weekend.

Oops, forgot my picks. Let's see, my top companies...

Malhavoc Press– I really liked Arcana Evolved, Iron Heroes, and a lot of their other products. Monte's rules and mechanics are always a breath of fresh air. Ptolus looks really cool and I'm sure it will be great for mining, but Ptolus is a heck of a lot different from Violet Dawn and I don't think I'd get $100+ use out of it.

Privateer Press– We modeled a lot of our company in the footsteps of Privateer Press. Amazing artwork, cool world, and solid products. I just wish there were more...

Rackham– My non-d20 pick. Their artwork and design is by far head and shoulders above the rest of the industry and their miniatures are my favorite. Really looking forward to Cadwallon.

The Company that I really know very little about:
Green Ronin– I have Mutants & Masterminds and its awesome, but I never got anything else from them. None of the game stores in my area stock their stuff. And I'm the type of person that needs to flip through a book before I make a purchase.

Cool, hope to catch some of the print products. Denizens of Avadnu is just awesome. I'm just not so much of a buying PDF kind of guy so am likely to skip if it's not print.
Alot of your stuff also made Monte's Years Best d20.

Fantasy Flight Games. I've collected a lot of other books from a lot of other companies, and some I like, but none have consistantly inspired me or held my attention like FFG's books. As was already said their board games are also very imaginative.

Green Ronin used to hold second place with a mixed bag of good and bad, but after Pramas' message board comments and the decision to make their most popular books closed content in anticipation of some devilish betrayal by WotC, I've realized I can be perfectly happy never buying another Green Ronin product.
