Favorite Level: DMs

Levels 3-11 would have to be my favourite when DMing, particularly the middle of that range (7-9). Closest fit: Medium.

I don't really have a preference. It has more to do with who is playing in the campaign. Some players play better at the 3-10 range, while others don't really get going till 18+.

Medium - PCs have several useful abilities and could overcome mutiple challenges; yet they don't have overwhelming power at their disposal.

Me:

Player--10th to 15th. Lots of options and things that can be done.

DM 5th to 11th.-- Power and a lot of player differentiation. Few game breaking spells, and one shot kills yet, though.

What is really surprising me (and probably shouldn't) is how many more responses the DM poll has than the players poll. Is that an ENWorld thing, or a 'hangs out at internet forums' thing?

As of this posting, you had 117 out of 257 (45.53%) "always" DMs, and 119 out of 257 (46.3%) "sometimes" DMs.

Apparently, there are more DMs than players on ENWorld.

Interestingly (to me, at least) the numbers actually came out pretty close for both the player and the DM poll. There's a slightly higher percentage of players that like 10th to 15th level than DMs that like to run it, but not near the discrepancy I was expecting.

10-15 has the coolest monsters.
