I have to say that my favorite place ot play is probably the basement of my house (mainly cause it is the most comfortable. however, i would have to say that another really nice place to play is in my families van on long drives. it isnt the most comfortable places to play but it allows us to concentrate and focus on playing. It will also end upbeing a nastalgic memory later in life.

And depending on how good the suspension on the vehicle is, you won't even have to roll your dice, you just put them on a flat surface.:)

I like playing at the Games Plus store in Mount Prospect. It's not long to get there on the train and that gives me about fifty minutes to review what I have set up to run for that day. Very nice place and they have dry erase boards for keeping track of things, too. Good idea, this thread, Ice-Man! :D

I like playing at my FLGS, but it gets loud and crowded on Saturdays (due to Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Magi Nation, and Warlord tournaments). This is can be a problem somtimes, since we can only play on Saturdays most of the time. But, at my FLGS, I can always ask one of the owners or a more experienced gamer about a game issue. Plus, if we need to look up a rule, we can just look it up in one of the many books at hand.
Aside from there, I'd like to play in my house. Not only do I have Music Choice to listen to, and I have all of my campaign information on my computer, and I don't have to get a ride to my FLGS, and I have free food and drink to consume, we just got our air conditioning fixed. And there's no little kids running around, yelling at the top of their lungs.

Cheers!

I dig my place, when it's strictly gaming folks. My place is really open-air so if there's anything else going on, distractions are haggard.

Once my girlfriend and I move into an apartment together, in San Diego, I can imagine I'll have to find a rad gaming store for TEH GAMING.

That, or just steal her mom's place. :D

Actually, other than the fact that all my stuff's at home, I'd say GoldenEagle's pad. He and his wife have a fantastic lower level gaming room setup. Just fantastic.

I used to like playing at my FLGS. We held monthly gamedays for Living Greyhawk there too. Then they closed. Sniff... :(

We play in my kitchen every Friday night. Convienent for me and my wife. Don't need to get a babysitter to play; don't need to drive home. Sometimes its a little distracting with the kids coming in and stealing some popcorn or munchkins, but it all works out pretty good.

I wish I could have a dedicated "Gaming Room". You know, one with a specially designed gaming table, with bookcases lining one wall, and another wall full of miniatures, master maze and other props. Maybe when the kids grow up and go to college I'll get the basement back. :sigh: :o

Welp, my favorite place to play used to be in the dinning room at my friend's house untill he moved and the group sorta fell apart. It was a great place nice big table and the kitchen was close by.
