Favorite song

Yup, too many styles and variance of mood to really pick one as an absolute, but ...

Since my favorite all around musician is Kate Bush, my favorite song is probably my favorite KB song, and that's probably "The Big Sky". The temptation is to say the funeral song is Bruce Cockburn's "Tie Me at the Crossroads", but that's more for a wake than a funeral.

Grave Song: "Whistle Down The Wind" (Tom Waits)
Favorite Song? There are really too many to pick just one, but "Strange Powers" by the Magnetic Fields always "gets" me.

I have far too many favorites, I am not sure I can pick just one, or even a few. I love almost anything by Juno Reactor!(they are also on the Once Upon A Time in Mexico sndtrk) The same can be said about Rob Zombie ( I just don't think he can put out a bad song).

Should an epitaph really begin with "His Life Was Saved..."? :uhoh:

Yeah yeah yeah. I knew some wiseass was gonna make that statement.

I figured the hipster people who wander past my tombstone would understand I was leaning more towards soul salvation than "Satisfaction" literally taking a bullet for me.

Can't ... pick ....just ....one.....too many...

depressing but "Every rose has a thorn" by Poison is high on my list along with "Let it Play" by them.

"Paradise City" by Guns 'n' Roses is very good....

Then I also like other types of music also-

I enjoy Eminem's "Will the Real Slim Shady Please Stand up" and also Nelly's "Hot in Herre"

but since you ask for one-

SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG by AC / DC

Ah, let's see...

"Only God Knows Why" by Kid Rock is definitely up there
"Dream On" by Aerosmith
"Crazy Train" by Black Sabbath"
"Nothin' But a G Thang" by Dr. Dre
"Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns & Roses
"...And Justice for All" by Metallica
"Changes" by Tupac
