D&D (2024) Favourite quirky detail from the new Monster Manual

I like that one of the animated objects' origins is happenstance, with the item becoming animated after 100 years of use. It's a neat little reference to Japanese yōkai folklore, which holds that household objects can come to life after 100 years of being used daily!
It's one of the ways I feel that the folklore element of some of the monsters has been played up, which I adore. The clay golem and oni also have aspects of this!
