So, how much do you guys think a feat that lets you cast a spell as an immediate action would augment the spell level? I know it must be more than 4 levels higher. So, what 5 levelsd 6? 7 is surely to much. So I was thinking either 5 or 6.
Instant Spell (metamagic)
Prereqs: Quicken Spell, Rapid Spell, Any other metamagic feat
Benefit: You may cast the augmented spell as an immediate action (restrictions for immediate actions still applies; such as may only cast one such augmented spell per round). You CAN cast a quickened spell and an instant spell in the same round (Too much?). To apply this feat to a spell you must first apply quicken spell to it (meaning it can only work on spells that are able to be quickened, including rapid spells that have been quickened; and that the spell is already 4 levels higher). Instant spell replaces the effect of quicken spell on the augmented spell. Instant spell uses up a spell slot 1 level higher than the original spell (meaning it uses up a spell slot 5 levels higher). OR should it use a spell slot 2 levels higher?
Any input?
