feat to make Bardic Music a Move action

Nuh-uh. :D Champions of Valor = CoV. Complete Adventurer = CV, as of way back. That might have changed, sure. . . eh, whatever. :p
I use the wizards abbreviation from the Feat index pages.
I can't honestly care.

And what, female bards are usually. . . not straight, too? :uhoh:
Coffee on keyboard. :D

In my fantasies, they are not. Except when they are.

Anyway: Move actions are generally non-offensive. This seems to be by design. Allowing you to use one for offensive purposes might be too strong.

Hey now, it isn't nice to say that the bard's music is offensive. Bards have feelings, too... and if you hurt them, they may end up singing about them. ;)

ahh, so this is the difference between this topic and Fast Wild Shape (CD p 81), which allows a druid to wildshape as a move action. Wildshaping is not expressly offensive. OK, thanks.

Wildshape is so amazingly offensive (from both an optimization and a design perspective) that it's not even on my radar anymore.

But that's not the worst thing printed in Complete Divine.

Well, who uses Fast Wildshape? Get another feat and do the Swift thing.

So, that way we're back to non-offensive uses of the move action and the penguin is happy. As long as noone uses wildshape :p

Why yes, the Fast Wild Shape feat might be too strong. That does not mean you make more broken things for other classes so everyone is equally broken.

Thought TBH, maybe simply house ruling bardic music to be a move action might work for those who feel the bard is 'weaksause'.
