feat to make Bardic Music a Move action

I think a feat that made a bard's music usable as a move action would be fair, well balanced, not broken, and not against the nature of move actions.

I think some ability to start it as a Swift action would be fair since I see no reason why a warblade bard should be better at that.

Given a swift action takes a shorter period of time than a move action, does if follow that you think a feat for a move action is also fair?

However, you can only use one swift action a round. A number of abilities in the Book of Nine Swords, the Magic Item Compendium and materials printed since then are balanced around having a single swift action. Making bardic music a swift action forces it to compete with those options.

Think about it this way: Quicken Spell is awesome, because it allows you to cast two spells in one round.

Moven Spell would be awesome too, right? But you should not be allowed to cast three spells in one round.

IMHO Inspire Courage is a damn strong ability, and is easily better than many Cleric spells. So I don't think it should be treated as weaker than a spell.

I particularly dislike the idea that a Bard could cast inspirational boost, kick in his Inspire Courage, and get off an attack.

There are many things about Bards that are weak, and these things should be fixed. Inspire Courage is not one of those things, IMHO.

Righteous Wrath of the Faithful ?

Yupp, me love Inspire Courage. Bards rock. And roll. And jazz. And swing. Clubs, hammers and axes.

Bardic Music or even "only" Inspire Courage as Swift or Move action... I think it's pretty strong. But I don't think it's unbalanced. Not with Warblade bards who can do that.
