Feats related to sleeping in armor...

Has anyone come across a feat that reduces/removes the penelty for sleeping in armor. I thought that I might have been a feat, but it could just as well been a magic quality added to armor.

Any assistance as aways is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Endurance [General] ... you may sleep in light or medium armor without becoming fatigued. (PHB 3.5 pg 93)

The problem with Endurance (and my primary character has it) is that it only affects your character. If the situation is such that it affects the whole party, then having one character with endurance isn't all that useful.

I used to use endurance to say that my character woul stand multiple watches in a night. Or if the other players were riding on horseback for 8 hours to get somewhere, my dwarf would simply walk for twenty hours to get somewhere. Or sleep while wearing Mithril Plate.

ugh, I'd rather not try sleeping in armor. Sleeping on the ground is hard enough. I think my mage is going to create a L0 spell that conjures a mattress.

I disagree. A ranger in my party has it, and as I am very fond of using ambushes while they are sleeping, having two people with armor on (the ranger and the guy standing watch) has proven very useful to them.

You have a Ranger that does not wear light armor? Then your campaign is the exception. Most rangers I know sleep in their armor because all they wear is light armor and they don't need endurance to sleep in light armor.

But I wasn't talking about sleeping while wearing armor. I was talking about endurance for its normal uses, i.e. being able to work harder and longer. Normally, unfortunately, if some condition impacts the party, then having one person able to work longer doesn't really help the party when the other five collapse and can no longer work.

Several big problems with a ranger wearing medium armor: they lose their bonus feats, they take penalties to hide/move silently, and they don't have armor profiency for medium armor so it takes an extra feat.

Yes, it's quite entertaining how v 3.5 added the Endurance feat as a free ranger bonus with one hand, and took away Medium armor proficiency with the other. :\
