For some characters, Quickdraw.

You gasp in befuddlement, but let me explain:

the two-weapon fighter using kamas (1-handed monk wpn that can trip) can use
quickdraw to draw and use another kama for a trip attempt in the MIDDLE of a
full TWF attack.

at level 1, whatever, 2 attacks right?

by 12th level with greater TWF, that's 6 attempts a round, and a trip is only a touch
attack. Improved Trip handles the AOO.

of course, any BAB 16 character taking 4 attacks is happy to quickdraw his weapon,
5' step and dish out bladed death.

Quickdraw tends not to be too useful at 1st level (except with multiple trip attempts)
but rapidly grows in importance later as every melee class gains more attacks.

Also, in a surprise round, Quickdraw is the only feat that lets you draw a weapon into
your empty hand (attack at the king's ball? by surprise? really?) and make 1 attack
in the surprise round.

Partial charge, it seems, is a thing of the past.

Not all characters need Quickdraw, but it pays off in many ways, especially when
Haste was just cast on you and your party, and you still have a bow in hand.
Drop the bow, draw the weapon(s) and Full Attack.

Quickdraw and Spring Attack.

Quickdraw a Bow in the surprise round and attack. My rogue missed out on a sneak
attack by not having this feat. I'm taking it at 9th level.

All hail Quickdraw, the feat that becomes more powerful as you level!
