[Feb] What are you reading now?

I can run through roughly a book every 1-2 days so it shouldn't take long. I'm also reading
Darwin's Origin of the Species

I use to be able to do that. *sigh*

If you have not read it, then read Voyage of the Beagle. It is Darwin's journal while off to do his research. It is an interesting read- I recall liking his hanging out with South American cowboys.

Starting on Philip Pullman's The Golden Compass... Heard so much about the trilogy I really have to take a look. :D

The Golden Compass/The Northern Lights is a great book in a great trilogy.

Currently, I'm reading Dune, and some Lovecraft short stories. Pretty soon, I'll be reading the Card Captor Sakura manga a sister of a friend is giving me. I'll take any Manga I can get these days...

Right this instant, I'm reading the message boards. Silly question :)

The book I plan to stick my nose into later this evening is J. Gregory Keyes', A Calculus of Angels.

Occupational Ergonomics , theory and applications.

Hoping to start re-reading Game of Thrones, as soon as I figure out what I did with my book.

"Mortalis" By R. A. Salvitore. Havn't read the DemonWars trilogy and i'm thinking i don't need to at this point. Next will probably be "The Fifth Elephant" By PTerry

BTW i read very slowly.

In my opinion, the Demon Wars trilogy is much better than the stuff that's come out since, you should definitely give it a shot at some point.

Yep, just picked it up myself when I went to get Angelmass by Timothy Zahn (who has another new book out). It's 413 pages and filled with disturbing news, the series ends in November! I thought it was supposed to go on for another year or more, plus Destiny's Way is only about 2.5-3 years into the five year storyline.

I actually heard about that before...sad sad thing, and the cause seems to be because so many people complained about the NJO, that they're shortening it. Oh well, I still like it. As for the book, guess I'll have to grab it tommorrow...must get my NJO fix...
Ah, side note. My Star Wars Insider has an ad for the Force Heretic Arc...Looks like the 2nd one will be out May 6th, and the 3rd on July 1st...good...not too long of a wait...:)

When Jesus Became God - Richard E. Rubenstein, an excellent book about the Arian controversy

Lullaby - Chuck Palahniuk, just as strange and excellent as his other books

Starman

Just finished three novels by Douglass Preston and Lincoln Child: Relic, Reliquary (the sequel), and Cabinent of Curiosities (stand-alone, but linked the the previous two).

I have the Dysfunction books mentioned above, but have never gotten around to reading them; might look at those tomorrow.

Currently finishing the recent omnibus version of The Borribles Trilogy by MIchael de Larrabeiti. After that, I'll be reading The White Compny by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
