OOC: Corlon, where are you? We'd really like to get to the next scene at the station so we can get some information out of the mooks we've knocked out, get to know each other a little better, and get on with the story in general.

"I wanted to know two things. Have you ever meet one of these guys before today? And have you seen anything suspect... hmmm... anything suspect outside what I have said earlier?"

"What are you, some sort of a cop too?" Dennis asks pointedly. "Look, I'm just a tourist looking for a bite of lunch. I've never seen or met anyone here before. As for having seen anything unusual...well, I guess the whole damn thing would have to count. Nothing the rest of you probably didn't get a better look at than I did...aside maybe from the chicken's kung fu."

He looks at the rooster and nods for emphasis. "Right?"

"The man with the glowing hand have dissapear without leaving trace and the only lead we have is 5 persons who have no idea why come guy was interested in. As far as we know, he have randomly picked us in the middle of a burger. I'm always happy to start some investigation with such lead."

"And not only did he pick us out, he had the audacity to ask us if we would join him! Well, after what we've been through tonight, there is no way in hell that I am joining that lunatic and his so-called 'architects.'

Sure sure you guys can go to the police station, sorry I haven't been here, hectic stuff.

In the station, you all have to fill out witness reports and stuff, i have no idea how police offices do this, but sometime during this, the rooster will run up to edge and rip open one of his pockets. A couple cards fall out. The rooster sifts through a couple of them and puts them in front of Dennis.

Then the rooster grabs the name tag Dennis has and places it next to the cards.

"Whoa there," says an officer, "it looks like that rooster is causing a bit of trouble. Should we take him to the kennel sir?"

 

[Rybaer]

Dennis watches the rooster with interest.

"Ah," he says as the bird constructs his thoughts. "So, that cutie was taken by some bad dudes in the back of the burger joint...and you think we should go to some temple? Gotcha. Hey, you know, after we get this mess all sorted out, you should come back to Wisconsin with me. We could clean up with your talents...the Amazing Kung-Fu Chicken!"

"No way, officer," Dennis replies. "This rooster is one sharp bisquit. I'll keep an eye on him."

After the officer leaves, Dennis scoops up the cards, nametag, and bird. He pushes his way through the mob of witnesses and officers until he finds One Eye. "Yo, mister One Eye," he says. "I think we need to go to this temple. The bird says that one of the employees was kidnapped when all that action was going down. Girl by the name of...er..." He fishes the nametag out of his pocket and holds it up to the officer.

 

[Someone]

Edge gets his cards back with a look of anger. But it doesn´t last very much. "A temple? They are not scarce in Hong Kong"

He takes a map of the city from a nearby wall and puts it on the table. Then offers the rooster a pin, so it (he?) can place it on the temple´s place on the map.

After the officer leaves, Dennis scoops up the cards, nametag, and bird. He pushes his way through the mob of witnesses and officers until he finds One Eye. "Yo, mister One Eye," he says. "I think we need to go to this temple. The bird says that one of the employees was kidnapped when all that action was going down. Girl by the name of...er..." He fishes the nametag out of his pocket and holds it up to the officer.

One Eye takes the nametag from Dennis. Figures that he couldn't read Chinese worth a damn. Not many Americans who can.

"Her name is Yun Chen. I've only been to the restaurant a couple times, so I don't know about her relationship with Tsou Tsung. There must have been more guys in that restaurant than we thought.

"Either way, we don't have much time to lose. I'm going to slide the word to the captain. Jack and Max will interrogate the guys we brought in and let me know what they get out of them. I want to know the name of the guy with the glowing hand and the lunatic who was on the table before the whole thing went down. Any plans that they have elsewhere in the city would also be of use.

"I'm going to try to talk the captain into letting me take you guys along to try to save Chen. You've been a big help at the restaurant, and I have a feeling that I could use your help again. Though to tell you the truth, I don't think the captain's very happy with me right now." he says with a grin.

OOC: I'm going to have One Eye talk to the captain about letting the guys who kicked ass at the restaurant accompany him in trying to rescue Chen. I fully expect the captain to chew One Eye out for gunning down those three mooks and letting the bad guy get away.

Leaving the officier who just fill his police report, Sun Jin approach the others who have already finish and are talking.

"People don't have memory. I just answers many question to a guy which I work with two years ago. Happy he didn't recognize me."

When he saw the cards drop on the table, Sun Jin start to become stress. He approach Dennis who is holding the rooster to protect him from the police officer.

"Sorry, I have a question to ask to him, I'll return it to you in a second and without harms."

Going a bit aside, he start to talk lowly with the rooster.

"Are you talking about the temple..." Sun Jin descrie the temple where he was killed to the rooster.

How much time have passed since I was mind manipulated?

To One Eye, "Yun Chen, eh? She looked more like a Kim or a...er...who was that Crouching Tiger babe? Anyway, yeah, I think we should check this Temple lead of the chicken's. Hopefully the girl's still okay. And you better do some good convincing with this boss of yours to get us to come along. If not, I'll find a way to do it myself...you know, American-style."

Dennis follows a discreet distance behind. He finds himself becoming rather attached to the bird. Unfortunately, their conversation is so low that it remains in undubbed Chinese, so he just keeps on eye on them.
