Curious, Dennis bends over to pick up the name tag. When the paramedic addresses him, he hops up.

"Oh, I'm fine," he says. "Just a bit hungry, to be honest. Some damn fools with guns just showed up and started threatening and shooting. Might want to talk to that guy over there...he's a local cop who was here when things went down." He gestures in the general direction of One Eye.

Turning his attention back to the rooster, he bends down again and takes a look at the name tag. "There something important about this?" he asks the rooster.

The paramedic give Dennis a very strange look as he talks to the rooster, and then moves in the direction of One Eye.

The rooster continues to squawk at the name tag, and Dennis suddenly remembers that the person who wore it was the young lady taking his order before he threw it into the mook's face.

The paramedic approaches One Eye, "oh...it's you, I've heard of you. What happened here? A responsible cop proably could've done it without so many casulties "he mumbles under his breath.

"You're worried about the girl, eh?" he asks the rooster. "Yeah, I wonder what happened to her? She was pretty cute." Dennis looks around the area to make sure she's not hurt or hiding in the food prep area. He slides the name tag into his pocket.

Looking down at the rooster, he says, "Hey, why don't you stick with me for now?" Dennis offers his hand down to the bird.

Edge doesn´t know what´s happening, but those people are interesting enough to awaken his long time repressed curiosity and makes him feel more... well, existing.

Though he could have dissapeared long ago, he decides to cling with them for a while to see what happens.

The rooster squawks in agreement and strikes a weird martial arts type pose with his spurs ready for killing.

"Hehe," Dennis laughs at the rooster's stance. "American chickens are dumber than a sack of wet mice. Looks like you Chinese chickens could kick some booty."

Not finding any sign of the girl behind the counter, Dennis hops back across. "Looks like the girl split. Probably a good idea. Let's go with the cop for now and see about tracking down that girl after we make a statement."

Dennis, who's not as busy as the cop, notes the woman walking through the burger joint. "Hey miss," he calls to her. "Are you okay? Any injuries? Wait...weren't you one of the five of us that that dude pointed out? I wonder what that was all about?"

Of course, Americans allways making me trouble.
"I'm allright Mr, and I don't know what you are talking about."
She leans on a table and drinks a coke that was just left standing there then the wyrdness started to wait for her turn to tell the police what she saw.

One Eye narrows his good eye to let the paramedic know that he heard that little comment. "A lunatic and his men attacked this restaurant. He ordered those guys to leave no witnesses, and I was damned if I was going to let them follow through. It appears several of the customers in this store shared my general sentiment. These guys were armed, though, and I prefer to fight guns with guns, which is why we have three casualties. Unfortunately, the lunatic got away, and I plan to bring him down."

"As for you, young lady" he says to the woman who just walked in, "you're also coming with me to the station to fill out a witness report."

"Uh, mister One Eye?" he says. "You want me to bring the chicken to the station?"
One Eye grins. "You can bring him in as well."

In way of explanation, he tells the paramedic, "Must be one of Tsou Tsung's pets that managed to get loose during the fight. I'll make sure that he gets a good home and doesn't end up on somebody's menu."

OOC: Yes, One Eye is leaving the weird stuff out of his report to the paramedics. He's omitting this because he knows the paramedics would never believe him if he told them about the portal, the fog, the ghost named Sun Jin, the guy with the glowing hand, or the fact that the rooster was actually Tsou Tsung.

Tatjana just goes on drinking her coke and trys not to smile then she's called a young lady.
"Realy Detective, I don't know what that show was about but I have to go to work."
She goes to the car aniway, knowing that no talk will get her out earlier and that it's not worth the trouble to just run away.
