I replied on thornDM's post and didn't realise It was here too.
Welllllllllllllllll, I'm very happy about this, and before I go saying this and that I'm going to inquire on somethings:
The armour; Sharp
But no studs(Arm and stuff granted
) But it isn't hell-studded as in like the phb thing.
He's crouching, no bigy, I don't hate it, But I like it better standing. Ignore this if you mean colouring in.
The pick, cool I'll post what they look like in Sword and fist.
Leggings/tights? They just look funny. I just get it, those are pads, but it looks like his legs are bare
Missing item! I never expectected him to be drawn without all the other stuff, still be cool if you can add some of them.
Çade is missing, I realise you might not want to draw the raccoon, and I think those are raccoon tracks.
No bow, see above, bar the raccoon tracks.
Ps you did the beard Kick-ass
Pps I'm cool with it as it is though, if you can't do any of it.

okay, I admit I did not put every item you listed. I think this has been an issue with Thorne as well. I will add some of the items in; however I do not want to draw away from the inportant element.. the character. Equiptment comes and goes.. however it should be no problem to add the bed roll, and other smaller items , adding the bow would clutter him.
I'll look up the pick in my S7F and try and match the two if you'd like.
One trend I have noticed in most people's character descriptions is a predeliction to focus on the character's gear, and not the character itself. You have done a good job of both I think.
As far as Cade, I was planning on doing a more personal pic with her in it. Yes those are racoon tracks he's looking at. I even did the photo research for racoons, so I want to make it something that does not just look tacked on. My original idea was to have her poking out of his backpack looking down at the tracks, but as I went further into the design I though it would clutter the image.
Would you like me to add more to the armor? I can make it look like the PHB stuff.. very stylized if that's your wish, however I tried to stay more in line with what I could find in research of actual 'studded' leather armor.
Also the leggings look 'bare' because I have not finished the shading on them. I'm working on adding some of the details as I go. I wanted to let you see the progress so far. As I said it was a first run.
Let me know and I'll go forward with what you decide. I will also be going back on some of thore's stuff as well. Since this isn't paid work I have to try and pace it between the few spare moments I have.

I have raccoon pictures if you want, the armour is cool, the legs are cool.
The equipment, Ah yes that is a good point! When I make characters I never visulise what they are like, and now I cvan see he would be better uncluttered.
