Festival of Halina: Adventurers Gone Wild! (Orsal Judging)

Troi ensures that all of his companions are occupied, then heads for the town proper, looking for the mayor's house.

 

[Bront]

Sunny says to Oirhandir "I don't know, that sounds dangerous. I think I'll wait till he comes back to camp."

Scarlet smiles and takes Oirhandir's hand "T'would be my pleasure."

 

[Bront]

Troi slips away and finds the mayor's house quite easily. He gets there just in time to watch the guards entering the door after Daphnie.

 

[GnomeWorks]

"Well, I can do this one a two ways... might as well try th' proper way first, I s'pose." Troi mutters to himself.

He walks boldly up to the door and gives it two swift knocks.

 

[El Jefe]

Sunny says to Oirhandir Scarlet smiles and takes Oirhandir's hand "T'would be my pleasure."

Oirhandir rose with Scarlet, and together they began to dance. As best he could, Oirhrandir tried to keep Carsis, Lasair, and Sunny in sight while he whirled with Scarlet to the tempo of the music.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Well, okay then...Let's go, I guess."

 

[Bront]

Carsis smiles and waits for Lasair and Sunny to join him, and then begins to walk further east. Eventualy, the 3 get out of sight of Oirhandir in the crowd, though there isn't too much further they can go in the field itself.

Carsis leads them around a fence, and points to a small trail off in the woods "There's a pleasant spot about a quarter mile down the path. A clearing with a fire pit where you can gaze the stars."

As he heads towards the trail...

"So, Lasair, I caught earlier that your family is a touchy subject with you. I'd like to hear more about you, but if it makes you uncomfortable, I understand."

Sunny trails behind quietly, trying to be unobtrusive, but letting Lasair know he is there.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I'm afraid I would rather not talk about it...Why do we not talk of something else? Perhaps the weather, I hear is a typical conversation topic? The day was sunny but with unusually many clouds, although there are always unusually many clouds here..."

 

[Bront]

Scarlet moves gracefully with the dance, and occasionaly seems to stop herself from trying more daring moves. The faster tempo music has Oirhandir barely able to keep up, but he manages to hold his own with his natural knowledge of rythym. Scarlet has a bright smile on her face as she makes the dance easier for Oirhandir.

Troi sees Scarlet and Oirhandir dancing, quite skillfully, as Oirhandir leads and Scarlet seems to bend, twist, and spin into positions that are quite impressive. The couple is not the most skilled dancers on the near area, but they are a sight to watch.

 

[Bront]

"As you wish Miss Lasair" Carsis says with a smile and a knowing nod. "The clouds were light today, but I've not heard of any predictions of storms for the festival. It seems Helina has blessed Covington with good weather for her celebration."

Carsis looks at Lasair and frowns. "You still seem uneasy Miss Lasair. Is there something bothering you?"

Sunny moves a bit closer to Lasair at hearing this, strangely enough acting the part of the body guard.
