"This is Lord Valdor of Riem" she say motioning to the appropriet merchant and then to her companions "And these are my friends, Lasair ond Oirhandir"

Recognition dawned on Oirhandir's face as it was Elise's turn to surprise. He now recognized the handsome man as the one she danced with the night before. "Doubly lucky", he thought to himself, "it certainly was a good night to find romance."

Oirhandir was polite to a fault as he gauged the reactions of both Scarlet and Lord Valdor.

 

[Bront]

Scarlet and Lord Valdor both smile as they spy you all approaching. Scarlet curtsies politely to each of you saying "Nice ta meet y'all." Lord Valdor shakes Oirhandir's hand with a steady grip, and smiles and gives the back of Lasair's hand a gentile kiss "Tis a pleasure to meet you Lasair." He turns back to Elise "It is a great pleasure to see you again Elise."

Scarlet and Valdor finish up a document and file it away, and then return. Valdor says "While I'm not sure how often either of us will have time, It looks like both Scarlet and I have the rest of the day free to wander the festival. I would like nothing more than to accompany you and your friends Elise. Though I hope Scarlet isn't tired enough of seeing me." he chuckles.

Scarlet giggles into a smile and says "Nah, I kin tolerate ya a bit, fer Oirhandir's sake." She nudges Oirhandir. "So, y'all know anythin' good ta see 'round here?"

OOC: Looks like I can't use all red without being confusing.

Troi -
Shortly after Lasair, Oirhandir, and Elise set off, the burly Sheriff comes by, looking for you. "Ah, just the man I was looking for. Troi, is it not?" He offers a strong but steady hand in greeting. "I don't we were properly introduced. I'm Sheriff Ironwood."

"I was quite impressed with how you handled those thieving gnomes, and was hoping I could get your help again. I need some extra hands to deal with security and such, so i've been deputizing a few of the townsfolk, but they aren't quite enough to get the job done. If you're willing to work durring the day, I could realy use you. I'm prepared to offer you 20 gold per day to help me keep an eye on things. Sometimes you'll be wandering around looking for thieves, and sometimes you'll just be guarding some of the more important happenings. I'm sure you came down here for something else, but I realy could use the help."

Fang, Sunny - Any plans for the day, or just general wanderings?

"Ah, just the man I was looking for. Troi, is it not? I don't we were properly introduced. I'm Sheriff Ironwood."

Troi rises slowly as the sheriff approaches, and shakes his hand.

"I was quite impressed with how you handled those thieving gnomes, and was hoping I could get your help again. ... I'm prepared to offer you 20 gold per day to help me keep an eye on things. Sometimes you'll be wandering around looking for thieves, and sometimes you'll just be guarding some of the more important happenings. ... I realy could use the help."

Troi looks about himself, then looks to the sheriff and shrugs.

"Sure, I don't see a problem with 'elpin' ya out, don't have much ta do an' all... I'll need ta check with Ingus - th' guy whose caravan I'm with - 'fore I say fer certain when I can help ya out. But 'side from th' specifics, ya can count me in."

Troi rises slowly as the sheriff approaches, and shakes his hand.

Troi looks about himself, then looks to the sheriff and shrugs.

"Sure, I don't see a problem with 'elpin' ya out, don't have much ta do an' all... I'll need ta check with Ingus - th' guy whose caravan I'm with - 'fore I say fer certain when I can help ya out. But 'side from th' specifics, ya can count me in."

Ingus, who isn't too far away, says "I gots no problem with it, as long as you're availabe for your watch at night."

The Sheriff smiles and says "Good, good to hear. You know anyone else who might be able? I could probably use another hand or two."

She nudges Oirhandir. "So, y'all know anythin' good ta see 'round here?"

Oirhandir grinned. Where to start? But he knew nothing of his delectable companion's tastes. "Well, I haven't seen anything of the south fields save for a booth run by gentleman who sells musical instruments, and one of our kind named Falander who sells the most delicious pastries", he began. "Falander I met on the journey here. The north field is much like this, just with different sellers, and the west field holds the Freefolk camp. I've met one of them named Rinaldo, and he is very hospitable. What sort of things would you like to see, my dear?" Oirhandir gazed into Scarlet's eyes as he offered her his arm.

A cool breeze blew down the lane where Lord Valdor's booth stood, and warm sunlight fell between puffy clouds sliding languidly across the sky. It was the perfect day to go for a stroll, to enjoy the sights and sounds of the festival.
