Well in Worlds and Monsters it states something about that the feywild is where most arcane classes draw their power. which makes sense as the feywild is a magic byproduct of the normal creation.

From the description they're given for 4th Ed, Barbarians will be taking in a more totemic imagery then they have in 3rd. The Norse Berserker, the original inspiration, is what they appear to be shooting for here. They're pulling their power from primal sources rather then through pure weapons training.Raith5 said:I agree. Barbarians should be a martial power class. If Rangers are are martial ( and IMO they should be) an not nature then barbarians should certainly be. Fey (even if feral) inspired barbarians are a bit weird. In 2nd edition they needed to be umpteenth level even to associate with magic using classes and magic.
It's from Worlds & Monsters.Raduin711 said:I have heard this before, but I can't find any info on the 4e info page... where is this from, anyway? Do you know?
IMO, if there is going to be a Primal power source and if it's "connected" to a plane, then that plane would be the Elemental Chaos. However, I suspect the "Primal" power source will have more to do with animalism and tapping into your inner beast. Also, primal may mean a feywild connection... or it may not... just thinking out loud.
