Fey!

i know it might be a bit of a longshot, but how about Dark Sun, Spelljammer, Al Qadim, Birthright...? those settings might just yield some really weird fey critters. :)

Yeah, there are some fey in the Al-Qadim MC (MC13). I'll leave combing through the spelljammer books for another time, however.

Ashira ("tree spirits that live in domesticated trees")
Living Idol (outsider is another possibility, but extremely minor material plane gods seem like fey to me)
Maskhi (or monstrous humanoids)
Pahari ("shapeshifting, marine nymphs")
Sakina ("friendly air sprites... they have no ties to the Elemental Plane of Air and are not considered elementals.")
Stone maidens ("Stone maidens have a mystic bond with the particular rock formation or standing stone of which they are (literally) a part")

Dragonlance has the huldrefolk, the elementally-attuned little Gray aliens. Their 3.5 appearance is in Towers of High Sorcery by Sovereign Press. I think the child of the sea is also a fey creature, but I can't remember.

Cheers,
Cam

cool, that's another one to look up (which, grrr, i hope to start doing tomorrow, if i can find the time)

They were originally in the Time of the Dragon boxed set, where they were presented as a race of elves. Weird.

No, those are the hulderfolk. The huldrefolk are an entirely different race.

HuldERfolk = elves. HuldREfolk = Reticulan alien fey.

Cheers,
Cam

no kidding...

OK, took some time, but i have all the fey that i think i want to put in my poll. i don't have the brainpower remaining at this time of night to properly set up the poll, but watch this space for a link. ;)
