Uzumaki, just curious, are you having any problems with the downloaded file? I finished getting the full file from the torrent, but it won't play now. Any player I try to play it in says it's encountered an error and turns itself off. According to GSpot (the media file doctor program), it couldn't find a suitable codec.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated, as I'd like to be able to watch this now that I've downloaded it.

The version I downloaded off of Bit torrent required a particular media player that I'd never heard of before. I downloaded it and the file plays fine. I believe it was called VLC media player but I'll double-check when I get home.

I am also bummed about the push back as I was also looking forward to getting this for Christmas. Even sent my family/friends the link in Amazon to order it. :\

And a big "Thank you!" to Darth Shoju! I downloaded the VLC Media Player, and the file now plays beautifully! You da man! :D

Very much so! Though what I liked most was the easter egg appearance by the members of the Turks from Before Crisis.

Agreed. In fact, I felt one of the strongest points about the film was the comprehensiveness of the cast of characters. They even put Cait Sith in there! (but not his toy Mog mount unfortunately :p )

Ah, well now you're talking about AC and not LO, but yeah, AC was great for working in the entire cast like it did. I really loved the part where
they're all taking turns propelling Cloud higher and higher into the air for the final blow against Bahamut.

Also, a plot point:
Did you wonder about how Sephiroth's goal seemed to have changed? He wasn't interested in picking up where Jenova left off anymore (by wounding the planet and being at the center of when it tried to heal that wound to absorb the Lifestream). Instead, he wanted to use that world to travel through space and find a new planet on which to make a "bright and shining future"...but for who? Himself and the others with Jenova's cells? That doesn't seem like the whole story...

Ah quite true. My bad.

As for...(spoiler)
Sephiroth; yeah, that did seem odd but it's been a long time since I played FFVII so it didn't strike me at first. Also the idea of traveling through space for the bright and shining future thing seemed a little vague and half-realized. How exactly was he intending on doing that? He seemed a little too destructive to be creating any kind of future, let alone one that was "bright and shining". I think you are right, it doesn't seem like the whole story.
