FF style Dragoon v0.4

Well, there are the 'Double Thrust' and 'Penta Thrust'. Maybe Double as an Encounter and Penta for a Daily power.

From FF: Tactics the Dragoons have inicreased Jump ranges as they level. Maybe Move +5 or +10 as Paragons and +15 or +20 in Epic levels?

the jump range increase occurs naturally as their skill increases so I don't see a reason to make it a class feature. I'll likely include some utilities powers to help.

Thrust is a good term I haven't been using, though I'll need to figure out something less bland than simply double attacks etc. double thrust is mostly just a 2[W] attack with penta trust a 5[W] attack when translated into 4E

Dragon Knights are largely defensive. Even the two classic attacks (Jump and Lancet) are designed to either avoid or offset damage.

I would suggest:

Dragoon Weapon Talent class feature-- +to hit and damage for spears and polearms

Kain's Blessing or something to that effect as a feat. Add your WIS (or INT, or Cha, whatever sounds better) mod to any attack that has you move a certain amount of squares.

At least a handful of attack + "you may spend a healing surge" powers.

Recommend someone be a Dragonborn if they want to emulate the Bangaa "breaths" from TA.

I cover that by making most the powers require spears

Int. the stat priority I'm aiming for is Str > Dex, Con, Int > WIS, Cha for purposely low will defense

I'm actually thinking of skipping those in favor of interrupts that avoid damage.

I've been designing with three races in mind

Dragonborn -- work due to their str and aoe (the class lacks for aoe)
Eladrin -- work due to their spear feat, and high dex/int
Halfling -- work due to their athletics
