Fiend Folio info and speculation

If any of you have checked the latest "In the Works." you'll see something some of you GH fans missed (or at least those that don't get Dragon.) In the Works: Blood Golem of Hextor

So at least one familiar dragon monster is back. Wonder if that means FF will only have Dragon monsters or there will be more interesting monsters coming soon.

maybe we'll see all the fiend-sage monsters. that would be kinda cool.

I have a wierd feeling we might see a few BoVD monsters int here too, perhaps in the 'rules for swarms, grafts & symbiots' bit.

Still looking forward to this book tho!

Which Dragon issue was that in?

There are a lot of monsters getting int othe Fiend Folio from Dragon (and I speculate that we will see the Hecuva template from Dungeon too). I have heard the Sword Wraith and the Blood Golem of Hextor will be in there, so it looks like they are going to use a lot of the Fiend Sage monsters (fiend sage... fiend folio... fiend sage... fiend folio...). The blood golem was in Dragon 292. The sword wraith was in Living Greyhawk Journal before it got put into Dragon.

While the folks at WotC seem to be biased against flumphs, I continue to hold onto the hopes that we'll see one in the 3e FF. Yes, I know that the flumph appears in the Tome of Horrors, but one can never have too many flumphs.
