The Blackstone Gigant is a Gargantuan Construct (CR19), created by Clerics in the shape of a Marilith or other demonic creatures.

Has a bunch of abilities you would not expect of a "Golem" (eg. petrification, animate stone).

I got Savage Species early, so the wait for the 3e Fiend Folio is killing me ;)

I have a swarm of sorts, in my game...known as haggles, they are the remains of a hag's eye when a covey is destroyed. I have the sworm (aerial) and skool (aquatic) detailed thusfar.

The inclusion of kelpies, sea drakes, and any aquatic outsiders will no doubt prompt me to update my campaign background yet again.

Maurezhi (Tanar'ri)

Skulvyn

Looking at the ToC, the blood fiend, skulvyn and wastrilith aren't tanar'ri. Yet, according to the FF excerpt...

... Skulvyns are tanar'ri. Who's right ?

Additionally, if someone with the book could be so kind so as to list the monsters having a "If you have so-or-so books, yadda-yadda", in other words, which are the psionic and/or vile monsters.

The book is of course!!! And the excerpt and the contents page. Skulvyns aren't in the excerpt, Myrmyxicus and Alkilith are. Which the contents listing says are tanar'ri... Have a rest, it'll be ok in the morning I'm sure... :D

Ok, Monster listings that refer to the FRCS:
Abyssal Ghoul
Ophidian
Wicker Man

Monster listings that refer to the BoVD:
Abyssal Ghoul
Alkilith
Blood Golem

Monster listings that refer to D&Dg:
Bacchae
Flame Snake
Jackel Lord

Monster listings that refer to OA:
Bhut
Paeliryon

Monster listings that refer to the ELH:
Klurichir
Myrmyxicus

Monster listings that refer to the Psionics Handbook:
Brain Golem
Cranium Rat Swarm

Monster listings that refer to the MotP:
Kaorti
Nerra
Piscoloth

Monster listings that refer to the T&B:
Maug

Monster listings that refer to the LGG:
Skulk

Of course half the book is extraplanar monsters, so there is a little blurb in the intro that briefly explains the D&D cosmology. All of the MotP referenceing monsters other than the Piscoloth mention the MotP because they involve varient planes (Far Realm and The Plane of Mirrors) that don't strictly speaking fall into the standard cosmology.

Don't say I ever do anything for you! :D

A BIG thank you ! :)

So the skulk refers to the Living Greyhawk Gazeteer ? One Greyhawk monster, two OA monsters, three FR monsters...

Oh, and the Maug, why does it refers to Tome & Blood ? Is it a potential Improved Familiar ?

No problem!

The implication is that all of these are greyhawk monsters, particularly considering that the blood golem is still the bloodgolem of hextor. The Skulk's reference to the Gazeteer is that they worship a god from that book. Most of the BoVD references are similar: fluff not crunch. As far as the Abyssal Ghoul goes, it says that they derve one God in FR and that they are servants of the Ghoul King guy mentioned as a servant of Youhnoug (ove however you spell it) if you're using the BoVD.

Oh, and the Maug, why does it refers to Tome & Blood ? Is it a potential Improved Familiar ?

No, they're constructs, but intelligent. It suggests that they should use the spells that repair damge to constructs from T&B. I think I might have missed some references to other books BTW. I'll try to look again tonight.

Maybe I'm just not getting it, but I don't quite understand what you're saying here. Skulvyns aren't tanar'ri, just demons, right? So why are they summonable with the Myrmyxicus's Summon Tanar'ri ability?
