OK. The fiendish codex II lists rules for damnation, wherein the creature becomes more and moe corrupt and eventually damns themselves to going to hell. This is in addition to specifically pledging your soul to hell in exchange for benefits.
My question, how does this effect worshippers of an evil deity.
For Example, in a Pact Insidious, the victim is expected to do various evil acts which would eventually damn a worshipper of a good deity (or in theory, would at least merit retribution upon arrival in their deity's domain).
What about someone who worships an evil deity? Say someone Worships a Drow Deity or something, doing evil acts wouldn't damn them, they're Supposed to do evil acts! Or say they convert to an evil deity.
What happens to them then?
Thanks, if someone can give me an official standpoint (something backed by something in a printed wotc source) that would be very helpful. I can obviously make up houserules if I can't figure it out, but I would much prefer something more official.
