Edit to add: one suggestion would be to let us add names at the place we think they should fit in the tier, rather than always at the bottom; as before long these tiers will get big enough that there won't be enough time left to move a new add up to its rightful place.

Apart from walking the shadows, Corwin uses little magic (contrary to Merlin), and he is the second-best pure swordsman of the multiverse...

I certainly think that both qualify at some levels. Geralt is a great swordsman even without signs and potions (signs are purely combat and might disqualify him, but potions are fair game for a fighter), and although Elric is a great wizard, he is a good swordsman, with very little stamina without his potions, and Stormbringer is another thing entirely, but his sorcery is mostly non-combat summonings.

Note that most elves especially top-tier are probably gishes as well.
