Figure Cards

After reviewing the figures and comments from you, I am considering these changes:

• Change pixie from +4 to +5 ECL
• Change erinyes from +5 to +6 ECL
• Make the half ogre/half dragon +5 without wings and +6 with wings but also beef him up a little more
• Make all humans and elves +1 for the planetouched template.

Thoughts?

I don't mind the changes to the pixie, erinyes or the 1/2 dragon. However I don't think that the humans and elves should get a +1 ECL for planetouched. Thier bonuses are not really that great. If you want, you could just reduce everyone's ECL by 1 instead.

What's the difference?

It's pretty much the same either way but the closer we stick to the rules, the easier it is. I'd prefer to bump the humans/elves up one level. It's per the book and no real difference than dropping everyone else.

Actually there is one difference. There will be several ways to drop your ECL by one. If you are already at zero, it would have no effect so these things woul dnot be useful for humans and elves. But if everyone is one or more than everyone can benefit from this.

All figure cards are now posted. The pdfs are 300 dpi so they are large (10MB for set1 and 6MB for set 2). If people dislike the very large sets, let me know and I will also post lower resolution versions as well. The 300 dpi sets should print quite well for those who want to print the cards.

Based on feedback from the gals who are not at all fond of the bare breasted figures, Jim and I are making these changes:

• The half-fiend with the elemental coming from her coat is replaced by a female half-blue dragon.
• The gazelle guardinal is replaced with a female knight who will either be a half-celestial or half-fiend (haven't decided yet; if you have a preference, let me know).
• The half-bald elf lady is replaced with a male half-fiend (he is armored and is vampiric looking).

The posted card set does not yet represent these changes (it should be updated within the next few days. Jim will send the pictures of these figures, which are already done, along with the new half-giant/half fiend (who looks very cool) and the word archon (who is also looking quite cool).

As each of you look through cards and start to pick out the figures of interest, please let me know if you see any issues with the stats.

The most important item is ECL. Flag figures that you think are not correctly assessed (for instance, you think that given the stats the ECL should be lower or higher) OR if you think the figure isn't very interesting with a certain ECL.

In the former case, we can adjust the ECL. In the latter case, I can tone back the figure some to allow us to drop the ECL. Two good examples of the latter case: the Erinyes is ECL +6 which is pretty high. If people think it would be more interesting at +5, I can drop its abilities and stats back a little. Similarly, the dragon-demon is also +6 which is pretty high, I could tone it back.

Other things to check are errors on the card, missing important information plus just personal preference stuff (like, for instance, if you really prefer the sacred watcher figure to be something else, like a half-celestial: Jim and I are seriously considering this change.)

All figure pictures are now posted in a table on the page above. Plus the pdfs have been updated on the figures page for printable (300 dpi) versions.

Figure changes:

• Made the Sacred Watcher an elvish saint (figure #8)
• Added the figure pictures for the giant-fiend (#21) and the Word archone (#31)
• Changed the half-bald female elf to a female human saint (figure #6)
  
• Changed the gazelle guardinal to female blue dragon (#28)
• Changed the half-fiend with the demon in her coat to a male half-fiend (#30)

Made some more figure card changes as follows:

• Turned humans #3 and #19 into "Life Archons", ECL +3. These celestials arose to combat the undead armies of the Age of Archons.
• Added three bonus exalted feats to the Human Saint (#8) and the elf saint (#6).
• Turned the female elf to a nymph (#7). This is ECL +4 and is not the same nymph as described in the MM.
• Changed the half celestial female, #18, to a half fiend, half celestial (fiendish celestial).

Changes are uploaded to the figure pictures and the pdfs.



BTW I also dropped the pdf dpi to 144. 300 dpi was just getting too annoying to keep uploading. If you want 300dpi, let me know and I'll upload a version.

Replaced the male blue half dragon with a human female. Pdf and online cards are now updated. (Also have it printed for the draft dryrun tomorrow).

All figure cards now have the final figures (thanks, Jim!).

If you click on the image above it will take you to a page that has a hot-spot over each figure that will bring up each figure card. Handy for comparing figures. (But each pop-up will obscure the previous so you will have to manually move them.)

BTW based on Jim's past E-bay prices, I think this is $5000 to $6000 worth of figures, at market prices.
