[Film] Toy Story 3

Great way to round up the series. Action, humour, and a bit of heart; just the right mix.

Oh and there isn't that much 3-D in it, so you can safely watch it in 2-D.

When I heard they were making a third one I at first thought, "You gotta be kidding me." I was amazed when I saw it advertised. I wonder if all the humans still have the same shiny smooth faces the toys have.

I saw it last night with the wife and kids. Two things...

1. Pixar has yet to make a movie that isn't at least good.
2. Pixar is the only movie company I know that makes sequels that are as good or better than the original movie.

Toy Story 3 was fantastic.

Great movie, wonderful sequel. It has a self contained story that does not require you to have seen the prieveous ones.

I think it would make a huge difference in the callouts to old characters and some of the plot points.

eg: Sid is now a garbageman, and even the ending where the aliens save the day would make more sense if you watched the first film.

I loved it. The short at the beginning wasn't up to Pixar's normal standards, but the movie itself was completely awesome. Since this isn't a spoiler thread, I won't go into details. My brother thinks this is the best of the Toy Story movies.
