Final words...

Scrambling, Bhalag attempts to get to the drivers seat and/or grab the reins (basically, he does what it takes to get to the reins in the least possible time).

He says loudly to Kae, " You're the best equipped to hold them off with your, err... blasting ray, or whatever you call it. Leave the driving to me. "

Seeing the driver plumet Rethlin puts his left arm and shield outside through the roof opening and attempts to cover Bhalag from the barrage of bolts that will be coming his way...

"Look out!" Rethlin cries in vain.

Bharag, give me a DC 10 Escape Artist check to wriggle through the trap door.
Success means you pass through easily. Failure means you get stuck somewhere.

Rethlin, if Bharag succeeds on his Escape Artist check, you can perform an aid another action to boost his AC by 2.

Kae blinks in surprise as the driver dives off the coach, and then gives a laugh of pure amusement and delight. "Right," she agrees to Bhalag's suggestion, still giggling, her eyes flashing with excitement.

She moves to the rear of the skycoach and applies the butt of her spear to a window.

[sblock=OOC]I missed the bit about having to break a window at first, so I went ahead and rolled attack/damage; feel free to use those for her first actual attack next round:
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20+3 = 13
If it hits, damage 1d6 = 2

I'm going away for a few days so please keep Kae ticking over while I'm gone; she'll just be blasting away at that Claw driver. I'll be back on Tuesday.[/sblock]

Bhalag, you are likely not wearing your shield on your arm. I can't think that would be comfortable for you in a vehicle. If it's spiked, I can't imagine it was comfortable for anybody.

Rethlin, you did exactly the right thing. You grant Bhalag a +2 bonus to his AC.

Wrapping up Round 1

Order of Action
Kae
The bad guys
Rethlin
Zook
Bharag

Kae blows out the skycab windows on one side to open her field of fire.
The bad guy driving the skycab attempted to escape. It went badly.
The badguy driving the skywagon (for lack of a better word) brought it beside you, about 50 feet away.
Zook finishes clearing out the skycab windows: now everybody has a clear line of fire out of the skycab on the side facing the skywagon.
Bharag wedges himself through the driver's trap.
Rethlin gets his shield through the trap and uses it to protect Bharag, but this required delaying until after Bharag's initiative.

Second round to follow...

Second Round begins

Order of Action
Kae
The bad guys
Zook
Bharag
Rethlin

Setup: Your skycab is being parallelled by the skywagon. The sides of the skycab give everyone inside a +4 cover bonus to their AC. Bharag, out on the box, does not get cover from the skycab, but he does benefit from Rethlin's Aid Another.
Neither the skycab nor the skywagon are stable platforms when they're in motion: everyone takes a -2 penalty to hit.

Kae fires a blast of dark energy at the driver
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20+3 = 13
If it hits, damage 1d6 = 2
She misses.

The driver who leapt off the cab continues falling and screaming.

There's a sliding door on the side of the wagon: it slides open, revealing four men tightly packed. Two of them are prone, two are kneeling over them. One of the prone men has a crossbow, one a wand. The two kneeling men also have crossbows.
Each of the crossbows has a tiny red spark on their tips. When they fire, the bolts erupt into flame, trailing smoke behind them.

The two kneeling men fire at the skycab itself, one just misses, but the other hits

Shots at the carriage (1d20+1+2-2=18, 1d20+1+2-2=8)

Fire scorches the side of the itself where the bolt strikes, though the bolt itself glances harmlessly off the side of the skycab

The man with the wand points it at the skycab and also fires a green glob at the carriage. A smell of chlorine is left after the glob hits.

Wand wielder (1d20+4-2=10)

The last man with the crossbow whoops enthusiastically and fires at Bharag, double-pumping his repeating crossbow.
One shot glances off Rethlin's interposed shield, but one creases Bharag's shoulder, burning as it goes.
1d10+1d6=2
Bharag takes one point of physical and one point of fire damage.

Zook is up.

(not Rethlin, sorry)

Zook says"stand" in a strangely emphatic voice OOC:use command to cause the prone wand weilder to stand up, thus blocking one of the kneelers and making hi measier to hit. Make a DC 16 will save
