Finding Nemo

I'm not good at the review thing so I'm just getting things for others to come and, hopefully, expand on.

Well it's by Pixar so you should go see it just for that you should go see, definitely if you like their previous movies (Toy Story 1 & 2, Monsters, Inc., and A Bugs Life for the uninitiated). I don?t think I like the story as much as TS1&2, and MI, but admittedly I?ve only seen once so far. Visually however it is an amazing movie, simply incredible looking and worth seeing just to look at.

Here?s Ebert?s review, he gave it four stars and was similarly impressed with the look of the movie.

I was a nice guy and took my sister to see it. Went to the late afternoon showing; packed full of kids and parents--tried to see it yesterday but it sold out (so I saw Matrix again). We both enjoyed it. It's amazing how good the animation looked; just spectacular.

though i have not seen it yet.. i really hope too (then again, i really hoped to see several movies that i just never get a chance to see :( )

This is going mildly off-topic, but does anyone remember Little Nemo the Dream Master? That was a game on the old NES, but it also was an animated film that I thought was quite good. Now that I'd like to see again.

I remember the NES game fondly, the film vaguely. I remember enjoying it a lot when I was a kid. Haven't seen it in well over ten years though.

Same thing happened to me, wanted to see The Core but I put it off to long. I also was going to see the Two Towers agina with my father since he hadn't seen it yet, but again waited to long.
Oh and you definitely need to see FN in a theater at least once to get the proper visual experience, it just won't be the same at home (maybe even with a HDTV).

The trailer for 'Brother Bear' was pretty amusing, too. A pair of moose voiced by the Brothers Mackenzie, hoser.

"If you only see one movie this year, it should be this one, eh?"

"No, you hoser...they're about to see a movie in like, two minutes, so if they only see one movie, they've already done it."

"OH! Hey! Leave the theater now, right?"

"Yeah, take off now!"

Heh.

Took my family to see it today: enjoyed it immensely. A little darker than I expected, quite honestly. On the other hand, my daughter didn't get scared while watching it, which I was happily suprised to see. Some hilarious moments, of course, and Ellen Degeneres really steals the show as Dori. Geoffery Rush was a treat as Nigel the Pelican, too. Willem Dafoe turned in a suprising part as Gil, for that matter.

Lots of fun, all around.

Absolutly a wonderful film, excelent cast. As for that preview, the Mackenzies are hilarious, but i made the comment "You couldn't drag me behind a truck to see this movie" My sister missed the rest of the previews laughing so hard.
