I saw the movie and loved it. To me there are few movies as good as a cartoon. they are usually funny, light hearted adventures and who can't use a little of that. I only wish they edited the scene with the fishing boat at the end. The whole everyone swim down thing was cheesy and boring.
I am not an Ellen fan, but she did a teriffic job and definitely stole the show. I loved the speaking in whale and the constant forgetting. I am giggling to myself just thinking about it.

finally saw this today before the midnight hulk (see hulk thread)
i LOVE toy story 1 and 2. i disliked bug's life immensely and i thought monsters inc was eh and one of the most over-rated movies of all time.
i went into this one figuring it might be ok, but not expecting too much (the best way to go into a movie)
HYSTERICAL. even though a lot of jokes were spoiled by the over-abundance of trailers and commercials, the movie was STILL funny from beginning to end. not as funny as Emperor's New Groove but VERY funny. and of course, very pretty (Especially the digitial projection...oooh)
my gf and i have a thing for moose and bear (squirrel??) so when we saw the brother bear trailer in front of the straight ot dvd atlantis sequel (not worth buying, by the way) we loved it. the slightly altered one in front of nemo was also fun. ("maybe theyre gonna find that nemo")
but INCREDIBLES is what i really want to see.
MR INCREDIBLE could wind up being the best movie character since BUZZ LIGHTYEAR (but there i go getting my hopes up again, a BAD way to go into a movie)

Okay. I love Pixar stuff anyways, but this was just awesome. Visually it's worth seeing , just to look at. The humor is funny, (and clean...which is kind of refreshing...no i'm not a prude but I like the idea of something I could someday watch with my 10 year old neice and not feel like I have to explain things) the story is sweet and entertaining. The characters are lovable, even Dory (Ellen DiGeneris) who is a bit annoying is lovable.
And of course, I have a soft spot for cute baby animals anyways...

Finally got a chance to check this flick out. I honestly must say that it was possibly the best movie I have seen this year. 10 times more interesting than Reloaded and more consistant than Hulk & X2 (both which I adored). I was entertained from start to finish. Was funny, a little dark (woohoo!) and some some action to it as well. The best part was the sense of adventure. Fun, fun, fun.
