WEll, in a blurb I read they plan on going into more detail on his and Illiria's backgrounds. So, based on that he is going to be in it.

Ah, but does it state whether the character will be played by the same actor or not?

Considering he was tearing up in the DVD thinking about his experience on the show, I'm not surprised.

Of course, still have to wait a year to see the movie, but at least we get to see it.

That is indeed awesome news. I fell in love with the series.

The actor that played Jane was VERY active on some messageboard ( I don't recall which one), and was very nice to all the fans. He participated in a -load of threads, rivalizing Col. Pladoh's participation on ENworld.

It's interesting to note the the most bastardly character on FF was actually the coolest to the fans ! I LOVED his character.

FWIW If (like me) you've been conncerned that Alan Tudyk's (Wash) name has been conspicously absent from the various press releases...IMDB does list him as being part of that cast.

Looks like everyone is going to be there.

I think Gina Torres edges him out in that regard. Or maybe I just didn't notice Adam Baldwin before Firefly, whereas I did notice Gina Torres.

Stuff I've seen Adam Baldwin in (that I can recall off-hand): Firefly, Stargate SG-1 (a team leader in one of the last episodes of season 7), Angel (Hamilton, very well-dressed liaison to the Senior Partners).
Ditto for Gina Torres: Hercules, Xena (actually, I think she played Cleopatra at least once, and the pirate/princess Nebula multiple times), Cleopatra 2525 (Hel), Alias (The K-directorate agent Anna somethingorother from Cuba), Matrix Reloaded (may have been in Revolutions as well - played Link's girlfriend's sister or something), Firefly, Angel (Jasmine, the Big Bad of season 4).

OK, her role in M:R wasn't very big, but she was in it, and I noticed her.
