Firefox 1.0.1 now available

Apparently, there may be a bug in it if you just install it over 1.0 so make sure you uninstall 1.0 first and then install 1.0.1. It will still keep all your settings, extensions, etc.

I installed it last night after the news hit Slashdot. On my laptop I just installed over top the 1.0 version. This time around I didn't have any trouble, though I have in the past.

I only did a little looking but it looks like the bug rears its head if you install over a zipped version and then it will crash when you try typing in a URL. The Firefox site mentions removing an autocomplete file to resolve the URL crash issue.

To be safe its probably worth uninstalling the previous version and then reinstalling regardless of what my experience was...
