Firefox 3 Annoyance

At first, I didn't like the awesome bar. Now I love it

I still get more mileage out of the Search bar on the right-hand side though.

At first I didn't like the Awesome Bar, but I quickly grew to hate it. Even OldBar was not enough to preserve my interest in FF3 - I deleted it and put FF2 back on like an old, comfortable pair of slippers.

It is possible to customize how the awesomebar makes suggestions. That could make it more tollerable, depending on how you want to use it.

Mostly, I don't want to use it at all. I rather like the way the address bar works on FF2, and really don't like the way it works on FF3. Even with OldBar running it throws up suggestions that I really and truly do not want. Until they have a way of disabling Awful Bar completely I will be sticking with FF2. It is only one feature, but it is one that kicks in every freakin' time I try to use the program. So, away the program went.
