Jeremy Reaban was so kind enough to post the first EN World review of "World of Whitethorn 1A: The Hamlet of Thumble" here:

http://www.enworld.org/reviews/index.php?sub=yes&where=active&reviewer=trancejeremy&product=WoW1THoT

There are also reviews of THoT at GamingReport and Gamewyrd:

GamingReport:
"The Hamlet of Thumble offers an innovative approach that captures the classic atmosphere and fun of first edition D&D modules. The breadth of the environment, the great descriptions, and the attention to detail make this a truly enjoyable adventure."

http://www.gamingreport.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=633

Gamewyrd:
"It’s refreshing to find material that manages the medieval feudal system and fantasy races so well. The scenario here has a much better structure, one that allows for a more satisfying and more mature game. (It's)... more than just an adventure."

Please be sure to check out THoT at your local gaming store or right here at EN World's RPG shop:

I eventually picked up a copy at Gen Con. Haven't had a chance to read it all just yet, but it does seem like a good low level adventure.

Are you doing more adventures and are they going to be linked?

Hi, Crothian!

Thanks for picking up The Hamlet of Thumble! Did you come by while I was away from the booth? If so, I'm sorry I missed you because it would have been nice to meet.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the book and if you have the time, please be sure to post a review here at EN World. I'd be very curious to know what you think!

Yes, I will be doing more adventure settings and they are indeed linked in a series. Products hereon will make references to characters from previous adventure settings, but you can still run each independently.

The next adventure setting is "World of Whitethorn 1B: The Village of Oester". It has a similar style, but will be different because it may have more mature content. More on that later.

There will be an announcement soon here at EN World including a cover image to show about The Village of Oester. It's scheduled for release in late fall (November).

The Web site has been updated, in case you haven't visited recently:

http://www.openworldpress.com

There should be more information on The Village of Oester soon.

If you have any questions on The Hamlet of Thumble though, please feel free to ask me here or e-mail me directly!

Thanks again. :)

Actually we did meet!! :D It was early afternoon on Thursday, so if the rest of your con was as hectic as mine I fully understand you not recalling me.

Oh, really? :) Did you introduce yourself as Crothian? If you did, I would have remembered though it was very busy. What did we talk about? I hope I comped your copy.

I may of, I can't remember. We talked about the module, you were very excited about it. The booth was crowded at that time, so I didn't stick around to long.

Yeah, I must be coming off as this jumpy bunny to everyone. Joe G. Kushner said something similar about me, too. There must be some kind of medication for that. Wait it's called actual sales figures.

Shouldn't the Village of Oester come out in April? :D

LOL. :)

Does Oester mean that in Norwegian or something? I just kind of made up that name, but I guess I could tie it somehow into spring.

Love your book Midnight by the way! I think I traded THoT for Crown of Shadow with Thomas Denmark at the FFG booth. I would have loved to meet you and shake your hand on a job well done though.
