Go diaglo! Bid like you've never bid before!

That line makes me want to buy a race horse and name it diaglo.

Now, imagine the chanting crowd...

"Go diaglo, bid like you've never bid before!"

:D

Price just jumped to $250! This one's gonna go high folks... C'mon Diaglo, don't let them outbid you unless they are willing to really pay for it. ;)

I wouldn't call it a steal, but more like a pretty good deal. If you're buying it for speculation, I wouldn't bother; but if you're nostalgic and want it for sheer collectability, it'd be worth it.

Thanks Henry. I was thinking about appreciation value as well as collectability. I was considering collecting older books and thought it might make a good piece.

I don't know a lot about OAD&D stuff, but I do know of a store that has three books (PHB, DMG, and MM presumably?) that look just like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=44112&item=5173446860&rd=1

For a total of $75. I'm getting the impression this is a steal?

If they're 4th printing or later, that's probably about right. If they're third printing or earlier, it's a steel. I'd be willing to bet you the purchase price that they're 4th printing or later.

Check out http://www.acaeum.com/ for A(O)D&D collecting information.
