First review of the new Red Box

Well they themselves call it an unboxing, it is the OP who called it a 'review'. And they are not hard core DnD reviewers so may have never even picked up the starter set, probably going from 3.5 to the PHB1, DMG1 and MM1 like most people.

I understand you perfectly, but there are a lot of other people, who are a bit intimidated by the actual roleplaying part, having learned during childhood that playing pretend is "silly" and that games are "played to win".
Certainly. My point was that there are such vastly different gaming styles. Obviously, I personally find mine preferable for myself. What could be more obvioius than that?

But the differences are very significant. In the end the differences are so great that even trying to discuss why one game is better or worse than the other is a fool's errand. You can discuss how one game is batter than the other at some particular thing. But as an overall experience, they are just far different.

So yeah, people come to the same destination following different roads
Absolutely. Many roads lead to the destination I have found. But, also significant is keeping the different destinations in mind.
