Could you write something in that post, please, Starfox? We don't allow posts with just links (in fact it's lucky it got through the spam filter!)

As of right now, there is 34 hours remaining on the Kickstarter..

And this is a bit of a unique Kickstarter in that Sean plans on publishing all the material he lists in the Stretch Goals regardless of whether those goals are met.. meaning that even if we don't make it to $35,000 there will still be a "Monster Guide" and assorted adventures.

So jump on the bandwagon! At worst you will be getting some excelent house rules to incorperate into your DnD/PF game. At best you will be getting a new setting and world to play in that is vastly different from Greyhawk and Forgotten Realms while still using the core of the rules that you know and love.

Sean Reynolds is one of the game designer/authors that I consider as a 'buy on sight' and is well worth supporting. I was just thinking there should be a '5 Moons' forum here ;)

Game Goals said:
The goals for this game are:

* Create a book that's easy to read, understand, play, and reference, like the Pathfinder RPG Beginner Box (a product I wrote and am very proud of).

* Make characters less dependent upon their gear to survive and succeed.

* Elevate martial characters to have parity with spellcasters, but still maintain fun and distinct flavor for each class. (caster/martial disparity blog #1) (disparity blog #2) (wands obsolete skills blog)

* Reward roleplaying, teamwork, adventuring, and social interaction instead of focusing on damage output in combat. (teamwork blog)

* Create a longer play experience in the leveling "sweet spot" (the D&D/PFRPG equivalent of level 6 to level 12) and allow characters to level more frequently so they don't remain exactly the same for many game sessions. (url=https://fivemoonsrpg.wordpress.com/2014/08/28/project-pentagon-the-leveling-sweet-spot/]leveling "sweet spot" blog[/url])

* Simplify scaling monster encounters against various character levels.

* Allow for pseudo-medieval fantasy without "realism" hindering characters. (fantasy physics blog entry)

(The above links point to specific blog entries I've made about those points on the Five Moons RPG blog.)

This game sounds interesting I will have to take a look at it when it is released. The design goals sound like 4e D&D and I really like 4e.
