Doesn't that seem a little fast? That means a low level wizard can recover their spells in minutes and a 20th level wizard can recover their entire spell load in about 1.5 hours. That's a pretty large power upgrade!

Protection of evil requires a sprinkling of holy water or powdered silver. Apparently a lot of DMs think a first level spell is too OP and should require the whole 25 gp vial of holy water or 5 pounds of powdered silver.

Ok,

Still - a large power boost because it means the Wizard has almost all of his spells available at a moments notice. It increases their versatility by a large margin and that's already a big strength of theirs over say the Sorcerer.

I don't know if this truly fixes it (god its such a horrible spell), but at least this gives it some actual punch.
