Certain powers with the Conjuration keyword (i.e. Flaming Sphere, PH Pg. 160 and Bibgy's Icy Grasp Pg. 161) allow a wizard to make additional attacks in subsequent rounds after using the power, so long as it is sustained by expending the appropriate action.
In both of the listed examples, further attacks are mentioned, but not defined. Is this attack considered a ranged attack, as the initial use of the power was? i.e. Does it provoke attacks of opportunity from adjacent enemies? Does it require the wizard to have line of sight, or just the conjuration? Does the target need to be within range, or just adjacent to the conjuration? Or, alternatively, is it a melee attack for the conuration?

Any subsequent attacks that can be made by conjurations are the same attack as the original described in the power entry, unless the power entry specifically states otherwise.
You must have line of effect to the conjuration and it must remain within the range of the power.
