We didn't see her flashforward - an easy explanation (considering what ended up happening in the episode) is that she saw herself as vice-president but misinterpreted it as being the president (she's certainly arrogant enough) or even that she knew she was vice-president and extrapolating from there that she will later be president.

You are correct, I believe her statement was the in 6 months she saw herself sitting in the Oval Office. She very well could have assumed that meant she was President.
