FLGS in Madison, WI?

I'm in a class all week, in lovely Middleton, WI (next to Madison).

Any games stores in Madison worth checking out? (I assume that's a loaded question, but you never know...)

When I was there years ago there was one on state street, I can't remember the name anymore though. It had plenty of D&D, White Wolf, GURPS, Shadowrun, a few miniatures, and other RPGs. This was during 2e years so I don't know if they carry d20 stuff, or even if they are still there, (Although I would say probably yes to both).

The "only game store in town" is Pegasus Games in Market Square. It's even fairly close to Middleton (I'd guess a 10-15 minute drive).

The State Street Pegasus, sadly, closed last year.

Pegasus at Market Square is the best store in town. There is a tiny game store near the top of State Street, and one struggling along on Johnson across from University Square, but Pegasus is your best bet.

Pegasus isn't the only FLGS; there's also Misty Mountain, although Pegasus is closer to Middleton. Misty Mountain at 4526 Monona, on the other side of the lake. It has a selection similar to Pegasus, but has a few things that Pegasus doesn't.

Oh yeah, I think I even saw a TV ad for that Misty Mountain place (it's actually in Monona, right?). Next time I'm in that area I should stop in...

I just went to Pegasus Games last weekend while visiting a friend who lives in the square. It is a good game store, its not Games Plus, but it has a nice selection, decent help and a better than average layout.

Yep, it's in Monona. They advertised during Buffy last year, but I haven't seen any of their ads recently. They've got LAN gaming setups and a few other things, but really the only reason I go there is because they carry Magi Nation cards.
