Fluff only campaign settings? (Now with a comprehensive list!)

Worldbook of Khaas (Emperor's Choice Games)
Lankhmar (Mongoose)
Glorantha (Mongoose)
Gwenthia (103-page, full-color, PDF)
HarnWorld
Mythosa

Those are the only ones that I currently know of in a commercial release or print-friendly online format (Gwenthia is a free-press download). As such settings continue to generate more interest, however, I expect that more will become available.

[Edit: Added HarnWorld and Mythosa to the list, as both are 100% detail and 0% rules.]

Cool.

Unfortunately, at the time that came out I did not have the funds. I'm now at the point where I could actually afford it, but, alas, it's not available!

The softcover is still super sexy and, despite a lower page count, actually contains a bit more information than the hardcover according to the head honcho over at Empcho.

Link for Gwenthia?

Gwenthia, IMHO, has a leg up on some commercial settings in terms of presentation -- it ain't WotC good, but it's far from second rate.

I don't know, it isn't bad or anything, but I greatly dislike 3D art for campaign settings. Also, why did they do the PDF on a gray background? Its like they don't want me to read it or something. There's no way I'll burn through that much ink to print it out. Sad too. It looks interesting. I'll read some of it, but I can't stare at a screen very long. I already do 8 hours a day at work and I get enough migraines.

A couple of Issaries, Inc.'s Glorantha sourcebooks -- Glorantha, Introduction to the Hero Wars (out of print) and the Dragon Pass gazetteer -- are systemless. (And the rest of the HeroQuest line uses its very concise and transparent ability + number stat format.)

That sucks and just makes me want it more... Did they do Print on Demand for this?

Just to follow up, I contacted Emperor's Choice and the softcover World Book of Khaas is *NOT* sold out (they were having some web issues that have been corrected that gave the false impression that the book was sold out), so it can be ordered through their website:

http://empcho.bizhosting.com/worldguide.html

The Diaries of Becka, which is the narration for Year of the Zombie, proved popular enough that 2 things happened:

THe enteries were pulled out and consolidated into a single PDF, all the fluff text, no mechanics, to give GM's and players alike a quick read for how the coming of the zombie apocalypse messed up the world.

And led to the novel trilogy "Road to Pain" which is sitting, the first book is at about 50% finished.

So, there's a fluff only book included with the rulebook for a d20 Modern product.
