According to designers, it means you add Monk class to flurry (so full bab). Any bab after adds to it.
So your BAB becomes 15 while flurrying.

not saying that you are wrong at all just trying to hash this out. Your saying that it adds because its a BAB and they always stack despite it stating.
For the purpose of these attacks, the monk's base attack bonus is equal to his monk level. For all other purposes, such as qualifying for a feat or a prestige class, the monk uses his normal base attack bonus.

Like any multiclass, you figure the BAB for each class and add.

The monk gets full BAB when using Flurry, so that's 5.
The fighter gets full BAB, so that's 10.
= 15.

The quote you pulled from the class is only referring to the monk BAB. It doesn't preclude adding the BAB from other classes when using Flurry. If it did, it would specifically say so. I can't think of any attack for any class that has such a prohibition.

As for # of attacks, you'd get the 1st extra full BAB attack, but you wouldn't get the 2nd at monk level 8 even though your cumulative BAB is 15.
